On 28 July 2025, Liver Care Society proudly observed World Hepatitis Day as a voting member of the World Hepatitis Alliance.
This year’s program included:
• Colourful Awareness Rally – Engaging patients, caregivers, policymakers, healthcare professionals, society members, and people from all walks of life.
• Awareness Meetings & Leaflet Distribution – Educating the community about hepatitis prevention, testing, and treatment.
• Screening Program – Free Hepatitis B & C screening for outdoor general patients and healthcare workers at Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
• Free Medicine Distribution – Providing life-saving Hepatitis B medicines completely free of cost to several hepatitis B–positive patients.
These activities reflect our ongoing commitment to raising awareness, promoting early detection, and supporting patients affected by viral hepatitis.
We extend our sincere thanks to all volunteers, participants, and well-wishers who made this event a success.
